It starts on Tuesday, Sept. 5, with weekly programs that highlight different divisions of the police department. You'll learn about K-9s, Drone Operations, SWAT and much more.
The program is a fun way to build a partnership between officers and the citizens of Texas City.
Classes are held each Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The program is free, but you must apply to be part of it:

TCPD's Explorer Program also begins on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Designed for young adults between the ages of 14 and 21, the Explorers Program teaches leadership skills and gives insight and advice into a future career in law enforcement.
