The City of Texas City is proposing to amend its Citizen Participation Plan (CPP) to include procedures relating to the CDBG MIT-MOD Program. The amendment would include public outreach efforts and public hearing provisions (as applicable).
The City of Texas City considers it the right of all Texas City residents to have the opportunity to provide input and comment on the use of public funds and the community’s needs related to affordable housing, community, and economic development. The citizen participation plan applies to the planning of the use of HUD funds for affordable housing, community, and economic development.
The amended plan draft will be available to the public for 15-days commencing Monday, December 5, 2022 to Tuesday, December 20, 2022. The draft may be accessed on the City’s website at www.texascitytx.gov, at City Hall, Moore Public Library, and the Community Development Department.
