Virtual Court Hearings Notice
Effective Monday, January 11th, all court hearings will be conducted by Zoom. Court hearings are defined as any hearings which include the Judge, Prosecutor, and Defendant/Defense Attorney.
Mission Statement
Municipal Court's primary function is to process all Class C Criminal charges filed by the Police Division, Animal Control, Fire Marshals and Neighborhood Improvement Services officials alleged to have occurred within the territorial limits of the City of Texas City. These include charges filed under the Texas:
- Alcoholic Beverage Code
- City Code of Ordinances
- Education Code
- Health and Safety Code
- Penal Code
- Transportation Code
Resolve Citations Without Appearing

Payments can be made online at our Payment Portal, or by phone at 833-259-4014.
Requesting a Record of Your Trial Proceedings
If you would like a record of your trial proceeding, you must request a copy of the audio transcript prior to trial. A copy of the audio transcript is $25 and must be paid at the time of your request.
