Texas City Marshals Office History

Texas City Marshals Office was established August 10, 2016. Marshal L. Washington is a law enforcement officer certified by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education. Marshal L. Washington is a licensed peace officer under the state law and has full police powers throughout the State of Texas.

Mission Statement

The primary function of the Texas City Marshals Office is to execute all Class C Criminal Warrants generated by the Texas City Municipal Court of Record.

Compliment / Complaint

Individuals who wish to make a compliment or complaint with respect to a ticket, citation or warning issued by a Marshal employed by this agency or a Marshal they believe has engaged in racial profiling may do so by contacting the Chief Administrator of this agency by phone, email, or mail.

The Marshal may make arrests at:
