Spay/neuter and routine vaccinations are important elements for responsible pet ownership, but high veterinary costs can keep the services out of reach for some pet owners. To help ease this, the Galveston County Animal Resource Center host Low Cost Pet Vaccination Clinics each month for multiple pet wellness events.
For Low Cost Spay/Neuter Programs, contact the Galveston County Animal Resource Center at (409) 948-2485 to see if they are having any events or programs at that time. We also have Animal Alliance locally, which is an excellent veterinary clinic that offers low-cost pet care for all residents.
Interested in a TNR Program for cats? Lifeline of Galveston County is a non-profit organization that is currently assisting the Texas City Animal Control Officers in a Trap/Neuter/Release program for our residents. They can assist in trapping, spaying/neutering, ear notching, and vaccinating our community cats. Please reach out to them at www.lifelinetx.org or (409) 797-6033.
